SKILLS REQUIRED:
a.. 4 - 6 years of testing experience
b.. Experience with load and performance testing methodology, general system
test case creation, and requirements decomposition
c.. Clear and concise verbal, written and interpersonal skills including the
ability to work in teams
d.. Analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with initiative and
accountability
e.. Knowledge of testing methodologies and the Software Development Life
Cycle.Experience with requirements review and manual test verification and
results/metrics/KPI reporting or reporting software
f.. Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish multiple tasks, both as
part of a team and independently
g.. Ability to manage time while working on multiple projects
h.. Experience with scripting automation tools like Winrunner, Silktest, or
QTP
i.. Quality Center experience is a must
j.. Health insurance industry experience is a plus
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
a.. Evaluate and test new or modified software products and validate
documentation prior to release.
b.. Prepare and design test plans and cases (of moderate and high complexity,
covering multiple business functions and/or platforms, as needed) based on
customer and software requirements and technical understanding of product
architecture to attain quality software both economically and efficiently.
c.. Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements.
d.. Develop and execute test cases for both new and existing feature
regression tests
e.. Execute manual and automated test cases according to documented test
plans.
f.. Verify accuracy of test results and document results.
g.. Document defects in defect tracking system.
h.. Perform re-tests to verify resolution of defects.
i.. Reproduce, investigate, and debug software issues
j.. develop and maintain project test deliverables in adherence to defined
methodology
