Location :downtown Chicago.{ Local only }
Duration :6months
4 - 6 years of testing experience
· Experience with load and performance testing methodology, general
system test case creation, and requirements decomposition
· Clear and concise verbal, written and interpersonal skills
including the ability to work in teams
· Analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with initiative and
accountability
· Knowledge of testing methodologies and the Software Development
Life Cycle. Experience with requirements review and manual test verification
and results/metrics/KPI reporting or reporting software
· Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish multiple tasks,
both as part of a team and independently
· Ability to manage time while working on multiple projects
· Experience with scripting automation tools like Winrunner,
Silktest, or QTP
· Quality Center experience is a must
· Health insurance industry experience is a plus
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Evaluate and test new or modified software products and validate
documentation prior to release.
· Prepare and design test plans and cases (of moderate and high
complexity, covering multiple business functions and/or platforms, as
needed) based on customer and software requirements and technical
understanding of product architecture to attain quality software both
economically and efficiently.
· Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements.
· Develop and execute test cases for both new and existing feature
regression tests
· Execute manual and automated test cases according to documented
test plans.
· Verify accuracy of test results and document results.
· Document defects in defect tracking system.
· Perform re-tests to verify resolution of defects.
· Reproduce, investigate, and debug software issues
