*Overview:*
The role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability
to architect SharePoint solutions by mapping common customer business
problems to end-to-end technology solutions. Demonstrated ability to engage
in senior level technology decision maker discussions related to agility and
business value. The responsibilities of this position include defining and
documenting the business requirements and translating those requirements
into functional specifications. This position is also responsible for
translating the business requirements into technology requirements and the
architecting the new client portal using MS SharePoint 2010 (MOSS 2010).
*Requirements:*
1. Must have 3-7+ years of intensive experience in the analysis,
design, implementation, and support of large complex applications using MOSS
2007.
1. *Must be able to define and document the business requirements and
translate into functional specifications as well as document integration
points of existing systems and business processes.*
*b. **Implement architecture by building components and custom
designs; prototyping; data migration; maintaining technical integrity and
consistency; documenting system*
c. Solid understanding of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
(MOSS) product and Windows SharePoint Services technology platform.
Experience doing development on MOSS 2010. Experience with MOSS workflow,
customizing MOSS style sheets, Development of custom web parts
d. Strong background working with SPS 2010, SPS 2007, Windows
SharePoint Services, SharePoint Web Part Development
2. Strong knowledge of technologies such as XML/XSL/XSD, and web
services
3. Strong organization, analytical, and problem solving skills
4. Strong documentation skills including experience writing proposals
and statements of work
5. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
6. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and
effective communicator
7. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of
this project
