Client is seeking a total of 10 onsite engineers to work at its facility in
Round Rock, Texas. Duration of the engagement under this phase of the
program is approx 7 months from mid-August 2010 through March 2011.
Requirements include:
- All headcount must be on-boarded and onsite in Round Rock by Sept 1.
(if 10 are unavailable, please respond with the qualified software engineer
count that could meet that date. Headcount staged beyond that date won’t be
viable for consideration under this work item due to the short development
window)
- Primary developer skillset required is:
- Java
- Web services
- SOA based application development
- Virtualization ---plus
- Developer experience range should be no less than 3 years and up to 7
years (excluding the leadership role)
- One of the engineers should be an onsite leadership position that will
address individual assignments and any day to day management functions
necessary for an autonomous onsite vendor team. (if that role is not
already addressed by an onsite leader from your company)
- The engagement will be a fixed fee contract that is broken down over
monthly billings and deliverable checkpoints
- Definition of the deliverables will be developed jointly with Dell
engineering as part of the SOW itself pending analysis of the response on
staffing viability and available skillsets
