*Position Title: *Genesys Engineer

Location - Houston, TX

Duration – 6 months contract with possible extension

*Roles and Responsibilities*


The Genesys Engineer plays a key role with the maintenance of and production
of Genesys and related telecommunications System, Functional and Systems
Specifications. This person also functions as the configuration and
maintenance of Genesys and telecommunication interfaces, Routing Plans and
client hardware and software. This person works closely with the entire
internal IT and business organizations, as well as various vendors and
deployment teams to ensure the sustaining operation of call center
technology in the IT production environment. This role ensures the stability
and availability of a high quality enterprise level telecom infrastructure.


   - Provides principal level call center systems support and team
   - Ability to lead the call center technology team to implement call
   center systems and applications.
   - Manages the production of team related documentation, ensuring that all
   aspects of organization process are properly and completely documented.
   - Maintain and communicate issues Genesys Telecom network
   - Ensure the organization’s adherence to established SLAs.
   - Lead day-to-day operations to ensure that the team meets requirements
   and timelines.
   - Support future implementations of global telecom and voice solutions.
   - Daily troubleshooting and support of Genesys

*Prerequisites *

   - Extensive working technical knowledge in the design and implementation
   of enterprise Contact Center telecom operations, including Genesys and Edity
   voice technologies.
   - Genesys and Edify, IVR and CTI configuration and maintenance
   -  Experience in leading a Telecomm, IT, or other technical team
   - Experience with CTI routing development, reporting development and
   advanced application development technology and process, including C++,
   Java, SQL, Oracle, etc.
   - Familiar with CRM solutions such as Seibel, SAP and People Soft, with
   knowledge of transactional interfaces.
   - Demonstrate able knowledge of Call Center and Contact Center
