Project Manager II
Candidate must be available without time off between May 1st through June
The ideal candidate will define and implement project management tracking
processes for a large banking system Project. Processes will allow for
detailed reporting, data analysis and management of Project deliverables.
Build a process to convert and synchronize MS Excel based project plans into
MS Project format that support standard practices to track material changes
in project task types, critical path, lag times etc…
Monitor and document material changes to systems and their downstream
impacts to other applications or systems.
Help define and document conversion Runbook requirements for plan
management, critical path analysis and reporting.
Coordinate events, document outcomes and communicate actions
Collaborate with Project Portfolio Managers and stakeholders to support the
Project and assist with decision support activities.
Implement tools and processes to support development, validation, review,
and communication of Project estimates to business, finance, management, and
Develop tools and processes to analyze project performance.
Expert level technology Project Management experience.
Expert level MS Project experience with ability to convert project plans
created in alternate formats into MS Project. Proficient in use of higher
level MS Project functionality.
Skilled in use of MS Excel (Pivot tables, Macros, formulas)
Solid experience with data analysis methods and management.
Proficient in use of MS Access with the ability to enter back end data,
execute data analysis and reporting.
Experience with various reporting tools, use of Milestone Manager a plus.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Knowledge / experience partnering with both business stakeholders and senior
Strong perspective, understanding, and sensitivity towards company business
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
High energy self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to
Previous banking experience is preferred
PMI certification a plus.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Experience managing data in MS SharePoint
