Job Title : Project Manager
Location : Arlington, Virginia
Duration : 12 months contract
Skills in priority Order:
1. Understanding USA and Canadian Payrolls. (ie-someone with Payroll
Management backround) 2. Oracle skills - a. All other modules-HRMS and
Fin'ls. are Oracle EBS apps..Oracle HRMS will feed into GEAC
Payroll,exposure to Oracle HR is important....
2. Oracle Methodology- you see a reference below to 'MD50" functional
requirements doc. This is Oracleterminology for their methodology. Part of
their AIM (Apllic. Implementation Methodology) and this ## (MD 50 is
simply an Oracle functional spec. So, Oracle methodology is impt. as well.
3. GEAC - See below the team. There are 3 analysts (all having Oracle EBS
skills) and 2 managers that will report to this position. The 2 managers are
from the 2 legacy companies. The LWW- Watson Wyatt manager HAS this GEAC
knowledge already... so they can help this manager...
OTHER SKILLS- Great communications skills; very clear and concise writing
of documents..(ie-Functional specs.-MD50) there will be many interfaces to
and from GEAC (Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc..) This Payroll Manager will need to
work with the team and understand and help coordinate all of this.
