*Length: 6 Months+* * * * * * * *Description * * * *Work and communicate across multiple teams to help identify and resolve potential pitfall early in design of product features.* *• Analyze system trending and provide expertise for capacity planning.* *• Evaluate new systems and technologies against existing architecture, recommend system changes as required.* * * *Job Requirements* * * *• 6+ years working in a similar hands-on position responsible for systems and/or network design and maintenance, ideally in a SaaS environment.* *• Strong verbal and written communications and organizational skills and the ability to work well with other departments and varying levels of Management.* *• Experience with monitoring systems, including custom check specification/development* *• Broad technical knowledge of computer hardware, computer vendors, software deployment, and remote support tools.* *• Experience supporting various application stacks on various versions of Windows and multiple distribution of Linux.* *• Experience with LAMP infrastructures* *• JAVA Application Server and Message Queue server experience a plus. * *• Clustering technology experience a definite plus.* *• Experience SAN and NAS storage foundations (Hitachi, Network Appliance, etc.)* *• Experience working with SQL (SQL Server, MySQL)* *• Experience with Scripting language* *• Advanced knowledge in Database Administration, Storage Management, Backup & Recovery, Performance Monitoring, Tuning, Database Integrity & Security.* *• Deep understanding of DNS* *• Familiarity with the functionality and operation of load-balancers, firewalls, and other network equipment * *• Familiarity and understanding of the OSI model and a real understanding of TCP a definite plus.* *• Ability to establish work priorities and manage workload autonomously.* *• The position requires being part of a 24x7 on-call rotation.* *• Any relevant certification a plus.* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "REQSRESUMES" group.
