SIEBEL Systems Analyst II - Systems Analyst, Siebel, Gap Analysis

SIEBEL SYSTEMS ANALYST The Systems Analyst will analyze, evaluate and
develop existing or proposed systems enhancements. As a member of an
Applications Development team, the Systems Analyst will provide application
software development services or technical support for projects about how
the system should perform or the business rules the system supports. She/he
will develop requirements for new applications or will analyze and modify
logic in existing applications. This position will also coordinate
activities with other IT organizations (e.g., database, telecommunications,
operations, technical support, etc.) to ensure that system improvements are
successfully implemented. The ideal candidate will be self motivated and can
do the job with minimal supervision. The candidate should be comfortable
with challenging business partners when appropriate. The candidate should be
able to recognize and analyze requirements and communicate those to the
development and testing teams. The Capability Definition team is a high
energy and fast pace team that supports each other and allows the individual
members to grow their skills and/or knowledge if they are willing to put in
the effort. Essential Functions:  Must be A self-starter and team player who
is assertive, independent and can manage multiple responsibilities without
close supervision  Effectively work with the business and facilitating the
definition of functional system requirements (JAR/JAD Sessions).  Work with
the technology team to translate business requirements into detailed design
documents  Serve as liaison between the business and technology groups
Coordinate user involvement throughout the project lifecycle  Manage all
aspects of the business requirements during all phases of the development
lifecycle and participate in other components such as: business case
development, development efforts, and system deployment  Identify
opportunities for process and system improvements  Play a key role in
managing system requirement changes and estimating system/development
impact.  Gather and document business process requirements, including data
analysis and modeling  Effectively and proactively report status to IT and
business management  Effectively handle conflicting priorities  Successfully
manage working on multiple projects and/or phases of a project at the same

Job Requirements: Qualifications:  Excellent understanding of all Siebel
processes for handling Service request, opportunities, quotes etc  Excellent
understanding of all Siebel workflow functions (eg: workflows, assignment
manager, user setup/preferences etc)  Experience with Siebel version 8.X is
preferred  Must have proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including
Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency with MS Office advanced
applications, Project and Access preferred.  Proficiency with Visio and
Functional workflows  Must have strong technical documentation skills and
excellent oral and written communication skills  Provide assistance to
technical analysts, business users and other project team members  Must have
experience with analysis methodologies such as use case diagrams, detailed
use cases, data flow diagrams, process flow diagrams  Must have strong
problem-solving and negotiation skills  Must have strong analytical and
communication skills, including ability to: o Ability to facilitate group
sessions o Understand and analyze a variety of business functions o Gather
requirements from users who may not understand a systems development
lifecycle o Document analysis findings concisely  Healthcare or financial
industry experience preferred
