o Platform *LSF* relating to users scheduling flows, setting up
dependencies, monitoring & troubleshooting flows.
o *SPDS* relating to end-users accessing (reading and writing) datasets,
troubleshooting performance.

 DESCRIPTION:

Charlotte based financial institution is looking for a client facing 1st
line SAS technical support specialist that will be a direct line of support
to EBI end users.
This individual should be able to patiently communicate with end-users and
if need be escalate issues to Platform Administrators.


RESPONSIBILITIES /SKILLS /EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

* Assists users with issues related to SAS EBI:

o SAS Web Report Studio
o Information Delivery Portal
o BI Dashboards
o Stored Processes
o Web Sphere & JBOSS

* Assists users with issues related to SAS Client Tools:

o Base SAS - Coding
o Enterprise Guide
o Information Map Studio
o Data Integration Studio
o OLAP Cube Studio

* Assist users with following server-side components:

o Platform LSF relating to users scheduling flows, setting up dependencies,
monitoring & troubleshooting flows.
o SPDS relating to end-users accessing (reading and writing) datasets,
troubleshooting performance.

* Monitors the SAS EBI Platform and reacts to systemic issues and/or failed
production processes
* Executes change control and code promotion activities
* Ensures compliance with agreed upon service levels for the following
activities:

o User Access Management
o Issue/Incident Management
o Availability Management
o Change Management
o Release Management

* Must have the ability to take highly technical concepts and translate to
non-technical end-users.
* Strong ability to problem solve and think out-of-box to help users get
things they want accomplished.
* Ability to write technical reference documentation for end-user
consumption.
* 100% onsite


PREFERED SKILLS:

* Background and/or knowledge of ITIL
* Experience using SAS/GRID
