*Infrastructure Technical Support Consultant *

Location: Scranton, PA or Somerset, NJ (Candidates can work from either of
these two locations on their preference)

Duration: 6 months

*Summary of Responsibilities: *

Provides 24/7 technical support to a number of areas such as Data Center
Operations, Network Services, Availability Management, Production
Management or Application Development, Vendors, etc

* *

*Principal Responsibilities:*

Provides technical assistance for a number of platforms, during issues
and/or outages. Areas to include but are not limited to Mainframe and
Distributed business applications, operating systems, hardware components
and the network infrastructure.

Assists in identifying and implementing process and processing improvements
for a number of operational, development and support teams.

Performs basic programming/scripting in the distributed environments

Composes and reviews documentation supporting operational processes and
service restoration.

Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot applications in the WebSphere Application
Server and Portal environments

Incident and problem management

*Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Desired:*

Bachelors degree in computer science or related technology field strongly

3-5 years experience working with WebSphere Application Server and Portal

Strong problem solving skills.

Strong analytical and communications skills.

 Strong listening skills.
