*Job Title: Sr. QA Tester (Data Warehouse) Location: Falmouth, ME Duration: 1+ years*
*Job Description:* This individual will be working within the BASEL program which is ensuing regulatory compliance. They will be supporting number of projects within the program, but specifically focusing on few projects where there is more pressing need for support. This role is for BASEL Lead – this individual will not only need to write test strategies and test plans, but will also be required to execute these test cases to ensure they meeting the passed/failed criteria as set out as part of the business requirements and test strategy and plan. This individual will be required to track, manage and report on test cases and defects. They will need to write extremely complex SQL queries as well as use Quality Center to upload, track, manage, and report on these test cases. This individual will need to provide high level updates on the status of their work so they must have extremely strong communication skills to do so. This individual will also need to ensure all signoffs on deliverables are met and ensure that testing meets governance and business requirements. This individual will need to have strong teamwork skills, as they will need to communicate and work with testers, ETL developers, and technical team leads, and well as interact with the business. Must have previous experience with all of the listed ‘must have’ skills. Heavy focus on writing complex SQL queries, strong experience in writing test cases, and experience not only writing strategies and plans but then executing testing as well. *Requirements:* Financial/Banking Industry experience (large bank experience is required) Data Warehouse/Data Mart experience Ability to write complex SQL queries. 5+ years of experience writing test strategies and plans 5+ years of experience with HP Mercury Pro/ Director 5+ years of experience in writing queries for Oracle & MS SQL Server Desired Skills: Informatica experience Familiarity with ETL Basel experience would be an added plus.
