· Manage the ITSM (ticketing system) Queue for Identity Management
· Tier3 support – initial troubleshooting & diagnosing issues and
following up with DCOPS to get things fixed/resolved with proper escalation
& engagement of other teams/resources.
· Troubleshoot complex configuration issues, identify software
bugs, and escalate issues to other teams when necessary
· Identify and track problems related to standards and escalate as
appropriate; use ticketing, incident, and bug tracking applications
· Communicate service outages and impact to clients, management,
other service teams, and peers and provide clear and effective status
reporting on a periodic basis
· Coordination of new or replacement hardware both in data centers
and in regional locations.
· Maintaining monitoring tools ensuring they are kept in a working
· Performing routine patching and break/fix work on mission
critical systems such as security patching, IPAKs, Service Paks and vNext
· Accountable for knowing and meeting committed service level
· Communicate with Microsoft operations team(s) coordination of
efforts with MS India AD team.
· Interact & collaborate with engineers within team as well as
other peer support teams such as Exchange, SharePoint, etc.
· Participate in Business Continuance Plans
· Gather metrics and analysis for ad-hoc needs.
· Work will involve any/all of the following items:
· Reports progress against deliverables
· Written report, delivered electronically, to designated Microsoft
personnel at least once/month showing progress on projects & deliverables.
· Issues worked on during the month
· Improvements uncovered/resolved
· Number of escalations/bugs filed and closed
· Additional tasks performed to assist with AD operations
· Documentation written as part of deployment, maintenance and
