Title: BI Developer (SSRS)
Description: The Business Intelligence Developer works in a customer
facing role in order to develop and produce reports that meet customer's
needs by providing timely information that enables them to make various
program and policy-related decisions. The role requires the candidate to
understand complex, large scale data models for an enterprise system and
the underlying business processes and produce reports in various formats.
In addition to report development, the role also requires to be efficient
in creating SSIS packages and routines to extract, transform load data.
Role will use SQL Server 2012: Reporting Services, Excel PivotTable,
Sharepoint PerformancePoint Services, and Power View.
Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:
Education/License/Certification: Bachelor's degree in computer science or
equivalent work experience
Five years relevant experience in the IT industry working as a reports
developer with focus on a customer facing role
3+ years' experience creating reports with SQL Server Reporting Services
(SSRS), SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), BIDS (Business Intelligence
Studio) and Visual Studio(2005/2008) and creating ETL packages using SQL
Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Experience in the Healthcare industry
Microsoft SharePoint 2007/2010 experience will be nice to have
Demonstrated understanding of SDLC's and use of revision control systems
such as VSS, TFS or SVN
Ability to express business and technical concepts clearly and concisely
both verbally and in writing
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
with the ability to gather reporting requirements from a diverse group of
users
Ability to create ETL packages to Extract, Transform and Load Data using
SSIS
Role will use 2012 Sharepoint services as repository, Dashboard, and
Reporting services
Ability to perform report design, development and delivery based on user
feedback, functional and technical requirements
Self-discipline and internal motivation to complete projects and tasks on
time without constant supervision
