Oracle DBA with Golden Gate 7+ months in Irving, TX. Oracle DBA Position Title: Lead system consultant / Application Support DBA Job Responsibilities Assists the Team in Production Support Activities and be rotated for a prod suppt with the Oracle environment. Monitor the performance and availability of key middleware components in production and test environments. Job/Technical Requirements 6 - 8 years Experience; Position is for a person who has relevant DBA experience and be rotated for a prod suppt with the Oracle environment • Experience in install, upgrade, migrate, patching, configuration, and cloning of Oracle Golden Gate software in clustered environment. • Experience with OEM 11g and SOA Management Pack Plus for monitoring of SOA components is aplus. • Experience performing operational tasks and activities (e.g. Monitoring log files, performance tuning, application monitoring and migration between environments.) and product support tasks is a must. • Experience in installing, upgrading, troublehsoot issues in Oracle SOA 10g • Experience debugging and resolving environmental and installation issues with Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle Application Server 10g and SOA suite 11g. • Experience in developing automated build & deployment scripts for SOA and J2ee components. • Experience in Oracle weblogic server security configurations including SSL certificate installation and configuration • Experience in Web Logic or Tomcat Administrator experience, with knowledge in clustering, JMS, Connection Pools, J2EE Deployments, Thread Dump Analysis. • Experience in Web Logic server Administration, Configuration and Support • Perl, bash/sh scripting or python experience in server administration. • Experience with UNIX systems (Solaris and Linux), Shell scripting. • Monitor the performance and availability of key middleware components in production and test environments • Must be comfortable working in Virtualized environment using Red Hat Linux and Windows platforms. • Proficient in creating clear, well written documentation of Operating Procedures and training other team members • ANT build scripts development Top 5 or Less Requirements Experience in Oracle Golden Gate support Experience in suporting Oracle RAC environment Years Experience in general and/or per skill 6 to 8 in general Supplier to provide laptop 4GB RAM Windows 7 Microsoft Office suite 2007 or higher.
