Job Title : Sr. SAS Developer
Duration : Through the end of the year, possible extensions.
Location : Raleigh, NC.
Interview mode : Phone to hire, start ASAP.
3 positions.
General Responsibilities:
SAS Programming and Data Management to include: Write, maintain, and support
SAS Programs in SAS Base and Enterprise Guide.
Required Skills
· Expert in Base SAS Programming (SAS Macro Language, SAS ODS, Proc
Report, Proc Tabulate, Data _NULL_, etc )
· Significant experience developing production grade code for batch and
interactive systems using SAS
· Excellent Structured Query Language SQL skills and demonstrated
ability to write complex SQL for purposes of analyzing data and/or evaluating
information
· Ability to write efficient SQL code to extract large amounts of
transactional data
· Experience SQL Pass-Through facility and also SAS/ACCESS LIBNAME
statement
· Experiences designing and implementing applications using Base SAS,
SAS Macro Language and SAS SQL to perform healthcare data processing including
data editing, aggregations and calculations i.e. imputations and allocations.
· Deliver quality code
· Deliver on time
Preferred:
· Familiarity with the UNIX platform.
· Skills in a UNIX batch environment accessing DB2
· 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in software development
· Works well in a team environment and be able to effectively drive
cross-team solutions that have complex dependencies and requirements
· SAS Base Certified
· Quick learner who can quickly understand both the business functions
and the applications
· Team collaboration and application ownership
