·         Functional Business Analyst with Investment Banking experience

  Business Analyst

Must possess the ability to; define business/system requirements by 
facilitating user meetings and interviewing users, developing use cases, and 
researching and resolving issues. Participates in business analysis project 
planning and management by documenting and maintaining plans, managing issue 
logs and preparing project documentation. Analyzes current processes and 
recommends solutions and improved processes. May also oversee the acquisition, 
analysis and dissemination of subject matter knowledge. Provides technical and 
business knowledge to clients. Keeps abreast of technological and competitive 
developments. Conducts research on industry practices and standards and other 
benchmarking data. Codes and maintains business application programs from user 
instructions or formal functional specifications. Experience in the analysis 
and testing phases of the development cycle. 

5-8 years Business Analysis experience in middle office 
recordkeeping/accounting. Must be strongly versed in the practices of the 
Investment Management Industry and understand the entire trade lifecycle from 
end to end. Extensive experience and knowledge in gathering and documenting 
end-user business requirements for the Client’s Enterprise Recordkeeping system 
via the Business Solutions Document (BSD) as defined by the Clients’s 
Corporation (SSC) Development Process Framework (DPF) template. In addition the 
Business Analyst (BA) should be capable of developing end-user release notes 
for each production release of the SSC Enterprise Recordkeeping System. BA must 
also be familiar with reviewing and providing feedback on Functional 
Specifications produced by the Design group for the projects assigned. The BA 
is also required to review the User Acceptance Test (UAT) plan and the results 
of the UAT execution by Software Quality Assurance (SQA) to ensure compliance 
with the requirements as documented in the final approved version of the BSD. 
The BA will be required to assist in diagnosing support issues from time to 
time as well as serve as a training resource to various audiences on the 
Enterprise Recordkeeping platform.

Other Key Skills:

· RKS experience (Record Keeping System)- Client’s specific. It is a 
modification of PAM to support IMS business. PAM experience is a derivation and 
would also be okay.

· Recordkeeping/Accounting knowledge is a plus

· Knowledge of database structures is a plus

· Excellent communication and writing skills required and ability to concisely 
present to the development team.

· Experience writing end user release notes also a plus
