*Job title: QA Analyst Location: Atlanta,GA Duration: 6+ Months Contract* ***( Need Face To Face & NO HIB ) Basic Job Function: This position has been created to ensure that testing responsibilities are covered for a product or suite of products. The incumbent will report indirectly to a Sr QA Analyst and take on responsibilities for testing that may include (but not be limited to): test plan and script creation, test execution, defect reporting, results reporting. The incumbent provides strategic guidance and oversight within one or more testing disciplines (functional, capacity and performance, automation, etc.) for a feature, project, product, application or system. The incumbent shall have experience planning for automation, load/performance, and security testing. The incumbent shall have some experience creating and executing automated tests. The incumbent shall be well-versed at creating and executing manual tests using Quality Center. Qualifications: Industry certifications (CSQA, ISTQB, CSTB, Six Sigma, etc.) a plus 4 - 6 years experience in 1 or more testing disciplines with commercial business-oriented software applications Ability to work independently or with a team Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail Excellent communication skills Ability to provide both detail information and also summarize to a management level Tenacity; ability to work through problems and reach a solution Ability to learn large complex systems Ability to work in ambiguous situations Ability to setup and maintain test data Proven problem-solving and technical debugging skills Understanding of software quality management principles (tracking, analysis, reporting, problem resolution and training) Understanding of software development and maintenance processes and methods. Understanding of project management principles and techniques as they relate to software project planning, implementation and tracking. 15. Flexibility; Ability to be hands on or lead an effort. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience Proficient in the use of commercial QA test tools to include HP Quality Center. HP Loadrunner and HP QuickTest Pro. Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment. Ability to work with resources on distributed teams. Testing .NET applications highly desirable. Exposure to TFS preferred.
