Minimum Requirements: Keys to the Position: This position will involve 80% development and 20% analysis With Regards to the Development part of the role, 80% of the time the consultant will be responsible for Oracle PL/SQL development which includes performance tuning and analytical functions. The Manager is also looking for the candidate to have some Java and Datastage experience. The Manager has a strong preference with candidates that have at least 1 of these but it is not a requirement. He needs them to have strong PL/SQL experience Expert PL/SQL developer on UNIX - at least 7 years of experience Must have at least 3 years of financial services experience - This is a MUST Candidates with some Java will be given preference - This is a big + Analytical Functions exp - 5+ years is a must Client currently uses the 11g database, this is a must Must know UNIX very well, will be required to write some scripts including Perl Must be able to debug data issues. Not only create the fix, but have the Analysis skills to evaluate and make sure the issues do not happen again May be asked to do code reviews for other consultants in this group Experience with Data Stage/ETL tool desired Must be a team player and be able to work in a friendly collaboritve environment.
