Job title: QA Test Engineer Location: West Des Moines, Iowa Duration: 12+ Months Contract Face To Face Require Position Description: This is a QA specialist with an understanding of manual & auto testing procedures. Familiar with the following testing tools: JUnit. Any experience with these testing tools would be good: EasyMock, Test Complete, or Selenium Main goal is to run auto testing and spot testing with manual tests. Since the development environment is Agile that includes test driven development coding by the QA for each unit goal, the Test Engineer needs to know how to write the test driven code scripts. A plus is a QA who has previously worked on a healthcare and government project. Position: QA Engineer This position is responsible for testing the functional aspects of new or modified software programs. The focus of the testing is centered on the storing and retrieval of data. Execution and modification of scripts for automated test tools may be part of the incumbent’s responsibility. The incumbent may make recommendations for program improvements or corrections. Essential Functions: Develop SQL queries and / or scripts for automated testing to validate application functionality. Queries will also be developed to create or modify test environment data. Performs defect management activities which include problem and issue research, analysis and documentation, working with other cross-functional team members towards issue resolution and closure. Update test case scenarios and other documentation. Requirements: 4 yr. degree in field of specialty and/or equivalent training and/or experience; 0 – 2 years experience working in an information systems environment.
