*SQL Developer * *Columbia, SC* ** *Face to Face after Telephonic * *Job Description* The individual will work closely with the data architecture team to participate in data mining/validation exercises for a large data conversion project. The ideal individual must have solid experience in database development and data conversion for large desktop and web applications using SQL Server Technologies. *Job Responsibilities:* - Participate in the development life-cycle of the software using agile process methodology. - Participate in all phases of database development including programming, unit testing, final delivery to the test team, and system testing support. - Provide guidance and leadership in area of data conversion best practices and tools. - Participate in data mining/validation exercise. - Create PL/SQL and T-SQL stored procedures, user defined functions, triggers, and other database objects. - Participate in code and architectural reviews. *Required Skills* - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related technical discipline required. - More than 6-10 years database design and data conversion. - 3-5 years of database modeling experience with strong understanding of conceptual, logical & physical database design, normalization and experience in creating and maintaining database models, dictionaries and other Meta data. - 3-5 years of SQL Server database programming experience with strong experience in developing complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and other database objects. - 3-5 years of SSIS experience is required. - Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS). - Experience in performance tuning and query optimization. - Effective communication skills. - Must be able to lead a team; must work well within a team *SQL Developer * *Reston VA* *Face to Face after Telephonic* Job Description 6+ years of experience are required for this Mid/Senior level position Diversified experience in all stages of a software life cycle with excellent knowledge of systems architecture and relational database concepts Strong experience working as a database consultant in understanding the mapping of business requirements and the underlying data model/data Expert level experience Stored Procedures, Indexes, Triggers, Views, DTS, BCP, Database Login and User Maintenance, and other database specific areas in a large scale application environment Strong experience in SQL-Server administration, configuration, maintenance, backup, recovery, database security, performance optimization, tuning, profiler, and data analysis Good understanding of conceptual, logical & physical database design, normalization and experience in creating and maintaining database models, dictionaries and other Meta data Experience in using DBCC to check physical and logical consistency of the database, fix detected problems and use these commands for maintenance tasks, status check and validations operations Experience with ERWIN Data Modeler tool to maintain the various data models Excellent verbal, communication, documentation and written skills with a willingness to work in a team environment in a proactive manner with ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks Monitor and report on database performance and resource usage Work with application developers and database end-users to resolving database related problems Possess the ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively and implement complex business logic and functionality in the database through the appropriate use of database objects Required Skills Experience with the following aspects of SQL Server are required: SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise edition SSIS SSAS T-SQL Modeling: Relational modeling Dimensional modeling -- Thanks & Regards Srikanth Asuri Kindly submit your consultant profile to above Email ID.
