The *Senior .NET Application Developer* is an IT professional who
participates in project teams to develop and/or maintain custom software
application code to meet ’s objectives and assists other developers or
systems engineers in support of application delivery.  The Application
Developer will also work on several applications as a member of cross
functional teams to support ongoing projects*.*

*Education:  *BA/BS in Computer Science or related field from accredited

*Senior .NET Application Developer** Experience:  *

8+ years experience in information technology, preferably within a trade
association or non-profit organization. Previous experience managing
networks in a company of comparable size and complexity.  Experience and
understanding of modern development techniques and patterns.**

*Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:*

·         Collect and document requirements and needs analysis from all

·         Respond to questions from callers and walk-ups; assist staff with
applications and work to provide appropriate solutions.

·         Provide primary project coordination functions as directed and
agreed to by stakeholders and project sponsors to ensure successful and
timely completion of related projects.

·         Provide application development for the construction of new or
modified functions, queries or database features as required by IT Director
of the user community.

·         Participate in cross-development projects with other developers,
internal and/or external, and provide subject matter expertise with regard
to development efforts.

·         Conduct all manner of data extraction, reporting and analysis
from the related databases.  Also conduct routine data pruning or mass data
insertion/manipulation as required.

·         Assist Director of IT with oversight of underlying MS SQL
platform, software lifecycle and routine management tasks.

3)Junior Admin role

Job Title: IT - IT Application Support II

Work Location: AUSTIN-TX


·         Works with moderate work direction, and can identify
issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving. Provides application
support for MVSS custom applications in the tolling, parking, public safety
or DMV markets. Provides said support for internal and external resources.
Develops proficiency within assigned projects utilizing appropriate
methods, practices and concepts. Acquires general knowledge and
understanding of the organization, the product lines, and customer base.

A rotating 24/7 on-call schedule will be part of this position. This will
be no more than 1 out of every 2 weeks with an ideal of 1 out of every 4


·         Technical Contributions: Conducts assigned technical tasks that
produce accurate, timely results used for decisions within an area of
technical specialty at a project level. Exhibits good discriminatory
judgment in evaluating results of those tasks, and suggests future
direction based on these results. Applies fundamental technical skills to
provide support and services to one or more of the following:
manufacturing, division, external customers, etc. Activities may include
product modification, application administration, technology development,
process development, life cycle management, technical service and product

·          Interactions: Interacts with other personnel, principally within
the assigned division/staff organization and customer base and begins to
develop a network of resources to facilitate completion of assignments.
Interaction is primarily by email and phone. Participates on and may lead
teams as required. Utilizes available information resources and systems.
Develops a working knowledge and understanding of the software,
manufacturing, engineering, sales and marketing functions and interfaces.
Develops understanding of customer relations and begins to understand
customer’s processes and applications. May identify and communicate new
opportunities, applications, customer needs and competitive information

·         Leadership: May be responsible for providing functional work
direction and/or training to contract workers or tech aides. May lead
projects or sub teams to complete assigned tasks. May conduct training to
customers and/or business teams.

·         Communications: Communicates results of assigned technical tasks
to respective business groups and/or appropriate customers and/or
appropriate technical community. Communicates relevant findings to external
parties/customers as appropriate. This may include preparing reports,
presentations, and other written documents. May begin to provide Voice of
Customer and Industry trends back to the business group.

·         Corporate Initiatives: Builds a working knowledge of key
corporate initiatives and applies appropriate tools to the job function.

·         This job also requires performing other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years+ experience maintaining and configuring software applications
• 1-2 years in application/CRM administration
• 1-2 years of experience with Redhat Linux
• 2 year+ previous experience in phone/email-based service desk environment
• Experience working in a 24/7 high availability System Software Support
*• Strong grasp of communication in English, both written and verbal
• Technical and non-technical communication skills such as listening,
reading, writing and speaking
• Ability to acquire knowledge of division’s products, customers and
customers’ needs
