*Location – *Charlotte, NC or Iselin, NJ *Length* – 6 month Contract *Max Pay Rate - *$50/hour * * Targeted Skills & Competencies: Candidate should have senior-level support experience managing Weblogic, Weblogic Portal, JBoss, Tomcat, Siteminder, and Websphere environments; Experience with Multiple J2EE Application Servers preferably in a Financial Services setting is expected. Key Skills: Weblogic (8.x/9.x/10.x/11.g), Web sphere 6.1 , Coherence 3.6+, Apache, and iplanet on UNIX and Windows; JBOSS application servers and Apache Tomcat servers; Datapower; JVM upgrade and performance tuning, weblogic server domains build, clusters configurations; WLST and shell scripting; Ability to use monitoring applications such as Patrol, Wily Introscope and JProbe as troubleshooting tools in the support process; Siteminder with apache web server Strong Troubleshooting Skills (under pressure) is required; Excellent communication skills; Assertive; Quick learner (able to adapt to changing environments/processes); very organized; very good documentation skills and Strong leadership skills. Expected Responsibilities: Provides 24x7 middleware support (3-shift rotation) across 13+ environments. Able to interface with multiple groups (on-offshore AD, QA and Production Services teams) to triage and resolve incidents and tasks. Supports middleware standard implementations as well as planned releases and/or migrations to new platforms and solutions. Provides engineering and technical support to business application development groups - Assesses hardware, software, tools, applications, etc., to support business operations and makes recommendations accordingly. Tasks and Responsibilities: Maintain and Support Weblogic Portal; Maintain and Support JBoss apps; Maintain and Support Tomcat apps; Maintain and Support Wily implementations; Maintain and Support Siteminder integrations; Maintain and support Coherence infrastructure; Troubleshoot Complex issues; Assist Application Development with deployment tasks. Flexible for week end support schedules working in a 24X7 support.
