Job Description:
Maintain and Troubleshoot Windows SQL Server 2008 backend to a Case
Management System in development.

Skills Needed:
Experience in database administration for MS SQL Server (2008 and 2012).
Strong knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR)
options for MSSQL Server.
Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native
monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems.
Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts.
Strong knowledge of indexes, index management and statistics.
Knowledge of implementing security in classified databases.
Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory and
proper disk configurations.

BE or BS Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information
Technology or related field preferred 4-8 years IT operation with strong
understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
3-8 years Microsoft SQL Server experience Certification is a plus; MCTS,
