Key points while submitting resumes for all roles :

 Ø  Locals are preferred but non-locals are accepted too.

Ø  Visa copies  would be required for H1B/EAD/GC profiles along with the

 *Job Description for Senior Back-End Java Developer*

 Excentus is seeking a Senior Java Developer who will help with design,
develop, unit testing and deployment of a multi-tiered fuel and retail
cross-marketing system. The application is an existing application, the
project will consist of new development, maintenance and enhancements.The
candidate will be responsible for design, development, testing and
deployment of our distributed applications. The candidate will also help
with troubleshooting production issues and adapting frameworks and industry
best practices, executing unit and performance testing, and coordinating
these activities among the scrum team. The candidate will be responsible
for coordinating with the Quality Assurance and Customer Support
departments on research of and remedies for software bugs and issues found
during QA, beta, and production.

 *Required Skills & Knowledge:*

* *Ø  *Minimum of 9 years in Java development.*

Ø  *Candidates need to have strong object oriented programming (OOP)
concepts knowledge – Need to have a strong foundation. *

Ø  *Candidates SHOULD be sound in  “Core Java”- That is ,Candidates should
have strong knowledge of object oriented programming knowledge – basic
object oriented programming concepts and guidelines.This is a MUST HAVE .
They need to know the concepts – Objects, Methods, Instances, Classes, etc.*

Ø  *Solid SDLC knowledge .This is a MUST HAVE *

Ø  *Experience working with the following technologies:  **Java, JEE, EJB,
JMS, JDBC, XML, SQL and Web Services. This is a MUST HAVE.*

Ø  Agile environment experience - Strongly recommended.

Ø  Sprint planning experience - Strongly recommended.

Ø  It would be nice if candidates have experience working in the following
industries: Retail, Banking and/or Financial Services.   Candidates with
this industry background would be preferred as  they will  have the
experience of working with high volume applications (large in size and
contain a ton of data) and transaction processing ,similar to what the
client have currently.

 *Desired Skills & Knowledge:*

* *Ø  Experience with the following are a plus: Swing, Struts, Hibernate,
JBoss, Websphere, Oracle and Linux.

Ø  Candidates  with credit card transaction processing experience is  BIG
PLUS.

Ø  Mobile experience is  plus.

Ø  Education BS or higher in Computer Science or comparable discipline
