*Job Title: PL/SQL Developer  *

*Location: Pleasanton CA (Locals only)*

*Duration: 12+ Months*

*Required skills: *

·         10 years of extensive hands-on experience with *performance tuning
* of SQL and PL/SQL for Oracle 10g DB-based applications in fast-paced,
dynamic optimization projects.

·         Must have strong analytical skills with solid design and
development skills implementing complex business logic, with experience in
converting nested PL/SQL into plain SQL,

·         Addressing performance impacts with functional indexes and
different types of joins, and using Hints for Query Optimizer.

·         Must have 3 years’ experience performing extensive sql tuning
utilizing SQL Trace, TK Prof, Explain plan, V$ views to optimize database
and application performance.

·         Experience with design and development of automated text scripts
for verification of business logic is a plus.

*Top 3 - 5 Daily responsibilities are:  *

·         Analysis of Oracle PL/SQL code for performance impacts,

·         Reviewing execution plans and identifying potential problems,

·         Coding and unit testing application code to address performance

·         Create and enhance stored PL/SQL routines, triggers, and
SQL*Loader scripts for data loads/data validations/summaries and business
rule implementation, and,

·         SQL and application tuning using SQL Trace, Explain, etc.
