Proficient in metadata management, master data management, data governance, data solutions management, data quality and cleansing strategies. · Strong experience in *Data modeling – Conceptual, Logical/Physical, Relational and Multi-dimensional modeling, Data analysis for Decision Support Systems (DSS), Data Transformation (ETL) and Reporting.* · Experience with *Kimball and Inmon’sdimensional Data Mart*modeling techniques. · Experience in Implementing *Normalization/Denormalization*techniques for optimum performance in OLTP/OLAP database environments. · Involved in Identifying the Facts and Dimensions from the Enterprise Architecture for designing the Star/Snowflake Schema. · Experience in dealing with Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD), Conformed Dimensions, Junk Dimensions, Status Dimensions and Role-Playing Dimensions. · Strong Database experience using *Oracle 10g/9i, DB2, Sybase, Teradata, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, triggers and cursors.* · Experience with *Teradata utilities such as Fast Export, MLOAD*for handling various tasks. · Good command in modeling using case tools like *Erwin, Oracle Designer, Power Designer & ER/Studio*. · Experience in data profiling, data transformation, data mapping from source to target database schemas and also data cleansing. · Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with exceptional ability to learn and master new technologies efficiently with clear understanding of business process flow, SDLC life cycle and facilitated JAD sessions.
