Title: Client Technologies Technician (Email Technician)

Contract Duration: 12 Months
Rate : $28/hr on c2c
*Scope Of The Project:*
ü As a System Administrator for LISTSERV and Sympa email Distribution
Lists software applications. Supports faculty, students, and staff with
troubleshooting problems for email and distribution lists.
ü Provides documentation, training, and instruction for users to
effectively manage mailing list based communication. Analyzes email related
problems, recommends, and implements configuration changes in the software
based on analysis. Strong customer service skills are important in this
ü Participates in the testing and evaluation of new email products and

ü Experience In Providing It Support, Ideally In A Helpdesk Or Desktop
ü Technical Knowledge Exchange 2010 Client Services, Email, Calendaring,
Folder Sharing, And Resource Mailboxes.
ü Working Understanding Of Email Systems, Desktop, Phone And Tablet Email
Clients And Their Protocols.
ü Experience in providing IT support, ideally in a helpdesk or Desktop
ü Technical knowledge Exchange 2010 client services, Email, Calendaring,
Folder sharing, and resource mailboxes.
ü Working Understanding of Email systems, desktop, phone and tablet email
clients and their protocols.
ü Technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems.
Windows server, Apple OSX, and Linux experience helpful.
ü Ability to provide support to customers and tier 1 support personal via
telephone, email and remote control for a range of Email clients and
ü Working Knowledge of Active Directory.
ü Basic understanding of PowerShell scripting.
ü Office 365 Experience a plus.
ü Spam filtering knowledge a plus.
ü Familiarity with Sympa and Listserv mailing list software a plus.
ü Familiarity with Proofpoint a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree In Computer Science Or A Related Field With Experience,
Training, Or skills particularly suited to the posted position; Or High
School Diploma And Four Years Of Experience.
