*Business Analyst (Recipient Eligibility) with recent Medicare/Medicaid*
*Loc- Columbus, OH.*
*Duration is 6 months to 1 year.*
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders - both external
and internal to client - to research and elicit, analyze, validate and
document business requirements, and to ensure that those requirements
clearly reflect true business needs, correctly representing all
stakeholders.
Translate business needs into system/ application requirements and
project components to help determine solutions to business problems.
Assist team members in producing functional requirements for tool
development.
Proactively identify and manage changes to requirements and
identify risks for clients.
Effectively manage clients expectations.
Apply industry and information technology expertise to support
proposals, feasibility studies, implementations and new business development
Demonstrate subject matter expertise in managed care and past
Medicaid experience preferred
Leverage subject matter expertise to provide high level estimates
and time frames for future project work
Ensure requirements and business design for every CO is correct,
appropriately integrates with other functional areas, and efficiently meets
business drivers as stated by the State
Document detailed, comprehensive business requirements that can be
used by the technical team when building technical designs
Work with other BAs to ensure that business design is cohesive
across all functional areas impacted
Capable to effectively utilize account tool sets (iTRACE, Quality
Center, Clear Quest, etc.) Required Skills:
3 years experience (current within the last year) working with a
state Medicaid program.
Experience with Medicaid regulations and business processes.
Must have 3 years extensive experience involving Recipient
Eligibility/Membership Domain
Gather requirements from a client to ensure client can provide the
appropriate system or level of service to meet business needs.
Determine the extent to which a requirement affects the system,
system components, or system architecture.
Use client requirements to develop / define system scope.
Use client requirements to develop business design solutions.
Maintain documentation, keeping system and business process
documentation current.
Design and execute user acceptance
