The Data Center Change Manager will be responsible for ensuring the
completeness of all incoming change requests.

The Data Center Change Manager has Change Management experience in Data
Center or Enterprise Environments as well as experience with various
process improvement and quality management methodologies such as Six Sigma
and ITIL v3.

Key Responsibilities

*         Review all change requests (RFCs) ensuring all changes follow
defined process and comply with DC requirements including Risk Assessment
and Business Impact Analysis.

*         Review all implemented changes to ensure that they have met their
objectives; refers back any that have been backed out of have failed

*         Liaises with all necessary parties to coordinate change building,
testing and implementation, in accordance with schedules

*         Engage with department leaders, project managers, Software
Development, and Solution Lines to acquire support and evaluate these

*         Serve as change agent by driving the required cultural
transformation and the adoption of successful process improvement
practices; by diagnosing barriers to RFC success; and by facilitating
resolution as appropriate

*         Ensure all risks and issues that affect the RFC are raised
following set processes and are actioned appropriately.

*         Producing Management Reports and tracking metrics around the
Change Management Process

*         Escalate risks and issues that pose a significant impact to

*         Understand trade-offs and risks with technical choices

Education & Qualifications

*         Minimum Degree / Certificate in Computer Science, Electronic
Engineering, or equivalent Telecommunications in country qualification,
applicable vendor / technology expert level certification or equivalent
work experience

*         ITIL Foundation Certificate

*         Six Sigma Awareness


*         University Education or equivalent general business experience

*         Advanced level knowledge of business process design including
diagnostic work, organizational design, change management, and
project/program management

*         Advanced level knowledge of ITIL, CMMi, or other IT Service
Management frameworks

*         Experienced in using various Microsoft packages with strong
experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

*         5+ years Data Center experience

*         Experience establishing metrics and reporting

*         Quality Assurance experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

*         Business Impact Analysis

*         Statistical Analysis a plus

*         Possesses advanced presentation and communication skills, both
oral and written

*         Demonstrates advanced relationship management skills with ability
to influence at senior/executive levels

*         Illustrates advanced developed analytical & research skills

*         Advanced ability to manage resources in a matrix environment

*         Exhibits advanced planning and analytical skills

*         Infrastructure/Platforms

*         Strong Problem Solving skills

*         Technical Communication

*         Experience with CA Unicenter a plus
