This will be a major effort for documenting data requirements and to ensure lineage is intact to help minimize future impact from changes in systems. This position will be a primary focus to ensure business areas are involved and aware of the data in the ESB. *Top 3 skill sets that are needed for this position:* · Data Modeling · ERwin · Teamwork *Job Description:* The data modeler will translate business needs into data models that integrate with the Enterprise Data Model. They will work closely with senior members of the team as well as the manager to define, document, and apply business rules to enterprise data. They will be responsible for defining business data requirements and creating logical and physical data models. They will also assist as needed in the design and development of data standards, policies, procedures, and metadata to ensure accuracy, quality, integrity, and optimization of this data. This includes working closely with application and database developers to model existing undocumented databases as well as designing new application databases.
