Position Title: Manhattan WM Consultant
Location: New Albany, OH
Duration: Long Term
Description:
The WM consultant will work within the client and business community to
maintain and support WMOS and LM to support DC Operations on a day-to-day
basis. S/he will also participate in construction and testing phases for
the ongoing project with automating DC2 with a new implementation of
Manhattan WMOS and LM.
As part of Daily Production Support, s/he will be involved in resolving
system issues on a timely fashion and help with Root Cause analysis and
come up with creative and innovative ways to resolve production issues on a
timely manner. S/he will be part of the on-call rotation and would need to
provide after-hours support for critical production issues. S/he will also
be involved in developing code changes to resolve production issues. S/he
will be actively coordinating with Manhattan CSO in getting Production
Issues to a closure.
The WMOS consultant must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and
demanding environment, able to multi-task across several projects
simultaneously, and possess strong interpersonal communication skills to be
able to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical resources
alike.
Responsibilities:
- Issue resolution for existing Manhattan Applications (WMOS, LM and
Slotting).
- Coordinate with Manhattan CSO to get resolutions for defects
indentified in Production.
- Document resolution steps to the Knowledge repository
- Develop and Execute test cases as part of System Testing for SDNs
delivered by Manhattan CSO
- Execute test cases as part of System Testing for the ongoing project
to implement WMOS in DC2
- Provide testing Support during the testing phase, and help in
troubleshooting issues that come up in testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, MIS/CIS, Engineering, or
related field (required)
- 4+ years working on Manhattan WMOS and LM
- Experience on WMOS 2011 version or higher is preferable
- Should have participated in Manhattan WMOS and LM implementation
projects
- Knowledge of Slotting is a plus
- Must possess knowledge on SQL and basic UNIX commands. Shell scripting
experience would be preferable.
ยท At least 2 years experience on either the Functional/Business
and/or Technical side in the Supply Chain field to be able to quickly
understand and assess the business processes and requirements
- Strong understanding of WMS concepts, particularly around Customer
Fulfillment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills to facilitate
communications between and among highly experienced business and IT
associates
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to breakdown and
effectively communicate complex business and technical processes, problems,
and issues
- Excellent planning and organizational skills; capable of multi-tasking
across several projects
- Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short term
perspectives of situations
- Knowledge and experience with SCOPE Studio will be a plus
