Installs, configures, upgrades and troubleshoots SAP ABAP stack . Should be able to architect H/W required . Architectural design, deployment, configuration and ongoing maintenance of multiple SAP landscapes - ECC 5.0, ECC 6.0, SAP R/3, Solution Manager, SAP BI, SAP SD, and other SAP components . Provide operations support for SAP systems and technical infrastructure, including but not limited to transport administration, printer administration, user accounts and authorization. . Work in a mixed server environment covering Linux, Unix and Windows servers using Oracle and SQL Server databases . Administer and ensure that system service-level patches and backups are in place for all technical components related to the SAP solution. . Experience with solution manager to monitor different SAP systems (7.1 preferred). . Performance management and improvement of SAP, application tuning, prevention and application optimization activities. . Perform background job configuration, monitoring, and maintenance. . Designs, develops and implements disaster recovery practices, procedures and plans for SAP environment. . Responsible for supporting and implementing technical integrations of global 3rd party applications . Maintain strong and effective working relationships with SAP Applications owners, IT Infrastructure team and OS/Network Team. .
