v In-depth knowledge of each layer of the OSI model.
v Good working knowledge of WAN, MAN, and LAN both from a transport and
v Excellent understanding of Cisco switches/routers and solutions as well
v Node Down Alerts
v Link Faliure
v Service Provider issues
v Power issue
v Network Data port issues/request
v Bandwidth & Latency Issue
v IP assignment
v Network tools Management for optimization
v Routing issues
v Implementation of enterprise data networks.
v Excellent hands on experience on following Products: Cisco Catalyst
6500, 3750 and 2900 series switches,
v Hands on experience on Cisco 3800 series routers
v Working Knowledge of Load Balancers
v Working Knowledge of Cisco Nexus switches (Cisco 7K/5K/2K).
v Configuring of VPC and VDC
v Configuring of the Cisco VSS technology
v IEEE802.1Q Trunking, Ether-Channel.
v Experience on Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and Access Points.
v Configuring OSPF areas/ EIGRP/ RIP / BGP
v Configuring Route filters using prefix and distribute lists.
v Configuring Static, Dynamic NAT and PAT.
v Configuring frame relay connection.
v Configuring GRE/IPSEC Tunnels
v Configuring AAA/TACACS on Cisco routers
v Backup and restore of Cisco IOS through a TFTP server
v Performing password recovery on Cisco Devices
v Monitoring Cisco Devices for performance issues
v Configuring and Troubleshooting MPLS network
v Implementing ISDN/3G/Dial up OBN solutions for OOB connectivity.
v QOS, Traffic shaping and bandwidth assurance
v *Working Knowledge of connectivity solutions through MPLS –
v *Working of any Network Management System (HPOV, NNM, Solar Winds ORION
v *Working knowledge of Security products such as ASA55XX, Checkpoint,
v Understand the network management Tools and pull device/WAN link
utilisation reports using the tools
v Able to administer/troubleshoot the Network Management tools.
v Experience in ITIL processes management
v *Able to work in night shifts and 24*7 support *
