Seek out candidates who have worked or are working at other banks using similar technology (US Bank, Regents, Bank, SunTrust, some smaller mortgage-based companies use Empower). This manager runs Teams that support core fulfillment origination technology in Home Loans Background in .Net and in s/w for several years Looking for junior to senior lead roles across the teams (7-10 resources) need 3-4 senior level people!! Unique skills - .Net development using Black Knight Financial Services (formerly LPS) - Empower tool Developers will indirectly make service calls and several other calls to that product. Have to know how core Empower tool works. .Net experience who have worked with Empower technology suite (contract or CTH opps) Back end solution development (back office application) Worked at other banks using similar technology (US Bank, Regents, Bank, SunTrust, some smaller mortgage-based companies use Empower). The position requires the design, coding, and testing of software projects, with a special focus on the underlying architecture of systems and integration between them. Duties include development in one or more of the follow technologies: SQL, XML/XSL, ASP.NET, WinForms, and C#. KEY qualifiers 5+ years development experience on mortgage origination systems 3-5+ years software development experience with the LPS (BKFS Empower) .NET experience Responsibilities: Work with Development Team Leader, Scrum team, and business owners to refine and clarify project requirements. Work with Development Team Leader to help manage projects and systems. Provide team leadership and proactively seek out areas for improvement. Lead design efforts of new systems and evaluate approaches for modifying existing systems. Code projects using existing design standards and with an eye to high quality, this will include making sure the appropriate unit, functional and user tests are in place. Help gather and provide input to assist in overall team process improvement and product design stability. Properly track issues and resolutions in relation to the development effort. Basic Qualifications: B.S. Degree, Computer Science, MIS or related work experience 5+ plus years work experience developing applications a must. 2+ plus years experience managing projects and teams is also required. 2+ plus years experience with multi-tier system design and implementation. Knowledge of software development life cycle and processes for quality assurance guidelines Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies Knowledge of quality philosophies, principles, methods, tools and standards of software development and testing (software estimation techniques, risk assessment and management, configuration management and change control, software tracking constructs) Knowledge of Internet protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, FTP, etc.) Knowledge of XML-based technologies, and encryption programming (SSL, etc.) Knowledge of object oriented programming, C# Knowledge of the disciplines of Software Engineering with emphasis on testing Experience testing Client/Server and Web software Knowledge of Internet and enterprise software technologies including web and application servers Efficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Project, Visio) Technical Skills and Abilities In-depth knowledge of ODBC and SQL. Solid interpersonal skills.
