Position : Technical Architect Location : Edina, MN Duration : 6+ Months Contract *Must Haves:* 5+ years experience in a similar position 5+ years of database and website design experience Strong experience with Java Strong understanding of relational database – Oracle Experience with multi-tier client server and web services – Must have experience working in a web environment Strong problem solving skills Proven experience writing use cases and well as test plans for applications – Both included in functional specifications Comfortable working on a cross-functional team (developers, operations staff, client contacts) *Role:* Will communicate directly with BA regarding business requirements – Once TA understands business requirements they will be responsible for translating requirements into functional specifications Translate business requirements into use cases to be developed into a web environment and service based technologies Lead members of development team (both onshore and offshore teams) to ensure they understand functional specifications Perform application testing and unit testing Work with project teams and client technical contacts to conform understanding of deliverables Project – large build for existing automotive client. Contract TA will work closely with tenured TA already at BIW who will delegate assignments to contract TA.
