*Job Title : Hardware Test Engineer * *Location :* Redmond, WA *Duration : *Contract. *Job Description:* *Responsibilities:* We are looking for a candidate who will be responsible for execution of system test plans, focusing on the area of Battery. The testing is broad in scope and includes verification of Battery Component level testing, all the way up to system integration/verification of Surface Tablets to ensure products meet and exceed defined targets necessary for excellent customer experience. The candidate must be able to find/root cause complex bugs and execute tasks with minimal to no supervision. The candidate will be performing: 1) *Battery Pack *Component level testing 2) Battery System level verification 3) Fuel Gauge/Charger IC verification and debugging *Qualifications:* · BS, MS or PhD in EE required and/or 5-10 years of relevant experience. · Strong electrical engineering fundamentals. · Knowledge of Visual Basic or C/C++. · Demonstrates strong design and/or test skills. · Demonstrates managing through ambiguity, and technical problem solving skills. · Excellent interpersonal, influencing, leadership, verbal and written communication skills required. · Hands-on experience in the development of high-volume consumer electronic product is desired.
