Title: Senior Salesforce Administrator

(Client) is a fast-growing Salesforce consulting company seeking talented,
self-motivated, client-facing, experienced Senior Salesforce Consultants.
The goal of our company is to deliver stellar results to extremely pleased
clients in a timely fashion. Our ideal candidate is a creative

You will be working with clients and internal team members to design,
configure, implement, and deploy solutions after thoroughly analyzing and
understanding the business requirements. You will identify specific needs,
design the Salesforce platform to meet those requirements, and work with
the client to ensure a successful implementation. You will be technically
capable and confident in your approach to help customers embrace and adopt
In short: you can manage many projects at once, can understand general
business concepts, and know Salesforce extremely well.
Provide overall systems architecture expertise in order to relate and build
upon new and existing client environments. (Must know where Salesforce’s
declarative functionality ends and custom development begins. You don’t
need to know Apex but you do need to know when you need a Visualforce page,
what the capabilities of it are, when you need a trigger, what you can do
with an AppEx app, and when/if they’re needed).
Assess and analyze the requirements needed to implement changes and advise
on the options available to support the request within the system
constraints while assessing potential risks and impacts.
Work with developers to translate requirements thoroughly and clearly.
Project Manage the development team (both onshore and offshore developers).
QA technical requirements.
Manage end-to-end delivery of complex solutions to multiple clients. (Able
to know that on single project, you could have 20 deliverables, many Apex
or integration based, multiplied by 4-8 projects at a time).
Manage and lead custom Salesforce development solutions.
Develop and contribute to data migration and/or system integration strategy.
Desired Skills and Experience
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
A sense of humor.
2+ years of experience leading the delivery of consulting projects in
client-facing roles that provided experience with all aspects of systems
implementation, including 2+ years of hands-on experience with
Deep understanding of cloud computing and/or web-based solutions and
technologies including but not limited to the Salesforce/Force.com Platform.
Strong technical writing skills. The ability to take the lead role in
developing comprehensive functional specification documents, process flow
diagrams, configuration details, use cases, test conditions, test scripts
and training documentation.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; executive level
presence and experience facilitating meetings.
Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical
business users from various backgrounds including Sales, Support and
High level understanding of programming languages (be prepared to discuss
(Informatica, Cast Iron, Boomi, MuleSoft).
Experience with data migrations, complex data models, and AppExchange
Self-motivated, goal oriented, and organized; team player with leadership
skills; works independently with self-prioritization of activities (We’re a
startup, don’t expect a lot of structure!)
Majority (~90%) of clients are located in the Greater New York City area.
Must be living in NYC or willing to relocate to NYC.
