*Project Manager for Critical Initiative *

The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of
the critical

initiative which has a beginning, an end and specified deliverables. The
SAP Performance

Team is looking for a qualified and experienced Project Manager to drive
this initiative.



*Skills Required but not limited to            *

·         Past experience managing end to end web development projects in
Apple

·         Proven experience managing projects using waterfall, agile or
similar software development

·         life cycles

·         Experience working with and managing resources that are
geographically dispersed i.e.

·         working in onsite-offshore delivery model

·         *Must have working knowledge and experience using RADAR, Espresso
and other relevant*

*internal Apple tools*



*Primary Duties and Responsibilities:*

The Project Manager will be performing a wide range of duties including all
of the following:

*Plan the project*

·         Understand the scope of the project in collaboration with senior
management

·         Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the
activities needed to

·         successfully complete the project

·         Review the project schedule with senior management and all other
staff that will be affected

·         by the project activities; revise the schedule as required

·         Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will
be evaluated at its

·         completion

*Manage the project team*

·         In consultation with the appropriate manager, interview and
select potential candidates with

·         appropriate skills for the project activities if/when required

·         Manage project team according to the established policies and
practices as specified by

·         Apple managers

·         Ensure that the project team receives an appropriate KT to the
project if and when required

*Implement the project*

·         Execute the project according to the project plan

·         Develop forms and records to document project activities

·         Set up files to ensure that all project information is
appropriately documented and secured

·         Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as
necessary to ensure the

·         successful completion of the project

·         Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders
including the project team and

·         Apple Managers regarding the progress of the project

·         Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on
a regular basis to ensure

·         that it meets the project standards

*Control the project*

·         Write reports on the project for Apple management reporting
status of deliverables

·         Manage all project funds according to established accounting
policies and procedures

*Evaluate the project*

·         Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget
and at the required level of

·         quality, this should be done in conjunction with Apple management

·         Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the
each phase of the project



*Education*

·         Bachelors of Science or related degree

·         Knowledge, skills and abilities

·         Knowledge of project management, with an emphasis in projects at
Apple

*Personal characteristics*

·         The Project Manager should demonstrate competence in all of the
following:

·         Behave Ethically: Understand ethical behavior and business
practices, and ensure that own

·         behavior and the behavior of others is consistent with these
standards and aligns with the

·         values of Apple.

·         Communicate Effectively: Speak, listen and write in a clear
English, thorough and timely

operations of the

·         Foster Teamwork: Work cooperatively and effectively with others
to set goals, resolve

·         problem, and make decisions that enhance Project Teams
effectiveness.

·         Lead: Positively influence others to achieve results that are in
the best interest of the Apple

·         and the project.

·         Make Decisions: Assess situations to determine the importance,
urgency and risks, and

·         make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests
of Apple and the project.

·         Organize: Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor
progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities.
