Contract Design, plan, integrate, test, implement, document and enhance the physical and logical components of large complex systems or networks. Implement and manage Windows, Linux, and/or UNIX operating systems, including performance tuning, backup/recovery techniques. Implement and manage database systems which could include MS SQL server, Oracle and other relational database systems, including performance tuning, performance analysis and capacity planning and database backup/recovery. Manage data storage including software and hardware‐based RAID, Fibre Channel based Storage Area Networks, and enterprise tape/disk‐based backups. Develop scripts to automate administrative tasks, often between operating sy stems and environments, utilizing Perl, shell, VB scripting, and Windows batch. Design and implement host and network security, including antivirus, intrusion detection, network access control, 802.1x, public key encryption, SSH, SSL, and two‐ factor authentication. Plan, implement, maintain and coordinate upgrades/updates/fixes for core operating systems and their related components, without negative impact to the overall availability and reliability of the enterprise systems/networks. Be a part of rotating 24‐hour on‐call support team to ensure rapid recovery from software or hardware problems for mission‐critical systems and networks. *DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS* Recent and verifiable experience as a network architect/designer supporting a large enterprise network with in‐depth knowledge and experience of the following: Five (5) years of verifiable and recent Wide Area Network technical support experience with installation, maintenance, and support of TCP/IP, HP, UNIX, NT, CISCO routers, switches, Cisco SONET, fiber optics, Cisco Work, wide area network related systems such as Internet, Intranet, Firewalls, DNS, DHCP, VPN. (TSE131) *AND* Three (3) years of recent and verifiable experience with the RedHat Linux (RHL) Operating System. (TSE105) *AND* Three (3) years Recent and verifiable experience in server virtualization with VMWare, including design, installation and configuration of host server as well as the creation, deployment and management of virtual machines.
