Client looking for a Sr. Applications Analyst for our client in
Winston-Salem, NC. This is a 6 month position. In this position, the Sr.
Application Analyst is responsible for business analysis/functional
requirements definition, solution design, implementation and maintenance of
Oracle Financial modules. The Senior Applications Analyst will work with
various IT groups and business users in defining, prioritizing and
executing application enhancements and projects. Additionally the position
will be play the critical role of ensuring that Developers have adequate
clarification and support on all business and functional requirements and
specifications related to applications. The Senior Application Analyst will
report to the Manager of the Applications Analyst Group.


Expert understanding in solving problems and the ability to review a
problem and recommend solutions. Proactive with strong communication skills.

Requirements gathering and scope definition with non-technical business
user constituencies

The ability to interview various non-technical managers to understand
complex, dynamic business rules/process and then create detailed, specific
and comprehensive documentation

Engage business users spanning multiple business units and ensure cohesive
articulation of business goals and processes to ensure effective technology

Engage business users to support all necessary clarification for the
Project Team, Developer Team and Production Support Team to design and
implement an effective solution

Manage components of a project plan or entire projects

Strong functional understanding of the systems supported and the
development framework for customizations

Verification of feasibility of Business User’s request functionality and
business rules based on existing technical systems and data structures

Ability to create and present key requirements artifacts without direct


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related

7+ years of demonstrated experience in Technology/IT industry.

5+ years of demonstrated experience with Oracle EBS Financials modules and

Thorough understanding of Finance business processes in a global Finance

Expert level knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, CE,
Projects, FA, iExpense, HR, E-Business Tax)

Strong knowledge of related application configurations and processes

Proficiency with SQL based queries

Knowledge of Project and Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies

Ability to identify system impact for small and large scale initiatives

Experience with global implementations of Oracle EBS

Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects
with varying deadlines

Able to effectively lead and motivate small project teams

Ability to achieve results under limited direction

Strong customer and results orientation

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills



Master’s degree

Experience with other Oracle EBS Process Manufacturing modules

Proficiency with MS Project/Visio/etc…

Prior experience with global implementations and support of Oracle
Financials for manufacturing companies.

Experience with international or multi-level marketing business

Experience with complex, multi-national application implementations
