Position: ETL Big Data Consultant Location: Newyork City,NY Duration: 6+Months *JOB DESCRIPTION* • Programming competence in Python and Java with Scala being a bonus. • Hands-on experience on Big Data technologies like Map Reduce, Spark, Sqoop, Pig, Hive, Hbase, Flume, Kafka etc. • Strong experience with the design and development of ETL Systems using Python or Java. • Good Experience with RDBMS like MySQL and SQL Server • Experience in Cloud system like Amazon Web Services ecosystem (e.g. Redshift, EMR, S3, RDS, etc.) • Good problem solving and communication skills • Take-up complete ownership of the work assigned in terms of quality and timeliness. • ETL Framework (Data Integerity, Scheduler, Horizontal Scaling, Dependency Management) • System design and architecture • Python Programming (OOPs) • Database (RDBMS - Index, Windows Function) • Messaging System (RabbitMQ) • ETL Tools SSIS • Should have worked on any open source ETL tools like Airflow or Luigi. • Professional experience with AWS and Big data technologies.
