*Title: SAP HANA Project Manager *

*Duration: 1+ year (with strong possibility of extension)*

*Location: Plano, TX*


Performs project management responsibilities and project leadership for
large and complex information systems development projects for business
applications and processes. Primary focus will be helping to deliver the
SAP HANA projects.

*Primary Responsibilities:*

·         Manage resources through all phases of project life cycle e.g.
feasibility study, requirements, analysis, design, development, testing,
and implementation.

·         Manage the relationship with all levels of customers and IT
management, executive communications

·         Develop and manage project schedule including estimating the
project duration, effort, and critical path as well as assigning and
tracking the scheduled activities and milestones through completion.

·         Request resources from resource managers based on estimates and

·         Plan the project and monitor its overall progress

·         Management and analysis of issues.  Escalation of issues to
higher management / stakeholders as needed, initiating corrective action as
appropriate and resolving issues

·         Ensure the delivery of new products or services from the project,
is to the appropriate levels of quality, on time, within budget, in
accordance with the project plan and to applicable standard

·         Manage third party consultants,  IT, and business contributions
to the program as appropriate

*Secondary & Support Responsibilities:*

·         Knowledge of SharePoint, MS Project 2007, MS Excel/PowerPoint/Word

·         Beneficial but not required is PMP Certification

·         8+ years of project management practical experience

·         Strong oral, written, and presentation skills

·         Competency in project management methodologies, processes, and

·         Work with Solutions Architect to complete the IT Readiness process

*Technical Abilities:*

·         *Experience managing SAP projects specifically HANA focused is

·         Knowledge of business applications and usage

·         Manage the risks to the projects for successful outcome

·         Manage the projects budget, monitoring the expenditures and costs
against delivered and realized benefits as the project progresses

·         Project leadership including project team and business

·         Build, manage and motivate the project team

·         Communicate with all stakeholders

·         Report progress of the project at regular intervals to the
project stakeholders and business and IT managers

·         Manage both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects
and / or various IT groups

·         Influencing capabilities

·         Catalyst or project completion

*Project & Deliverables:*

·         Responsible for project planning, estimation, resourcing,
tracking, execution and implementation of the project within budget, scope
and schedule.
