Hi, Hope you are doing great!! *Role: SAS Programmer/ Hadoop/ Informatica BDE* *Location: Tampa, FL* *1) **SAS programmers * 5+ Years SAS experience – EG & Base (batch mode) Base SAS certification required, Advance certification preferred 2+ years healthcare experience 5+ years SQL (Oracle highly preferred) experience. *2) Hadoop (3 Counts)* *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS* *Note: The following is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties required of this position* *Key Duties and Responsibilities* • Prepares detailed functional specifications, design models, and system workflows from which software applications will be developed and implemented. • Assist in the design and development of enterprise systems making specific determinations about system performance, reliability, and scalability. • Responds promptly and professionally to requests for support in order to troubleshoot and/or maintain production systems. • Conducts system analysis and development, with limited support, to keep information systems current with changing technologies. • Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming. • Responsible for developing new programs and proofing the program to develop needed changes to assure production of a quality product. • Writes, edits, and debugs new computer programs for assigned projects, including necessary records and desired output. • Tests new or enhanced programs to ensure logic and syntax are correct. • Document code consistently throughout the development process by listing a description of the program, special instructions, and any changes made in database tables on procedural, modular and database level. • Responsible for planning, processing, and performing all jobs/tasks in an efficient manner with little assistance from supervisor. • Maintains WellCare IT development standards and best practices • Incorporating best practices and industry standards on the new technologies the applications built on • Leading the team and driving towards the quality deliverables • Developing good reputation with business groups • Performs other duties as assigned. *Work Experience* *State the minimum required for the job* *Experience Level* *Experience Details* *Required/Preferred* 7+ years of experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale OLTP and DSS in a client-server environment Required 5+ years of experience in database design, development, and normalization using Oracle DBMS or Microsoft SQL Server Preferred 5+ years of experience in web service protocols (SOAP/REST/WSDL) and data formats (XML/JSON) Preferred 5+ years of experience in both the use of structured and object oriented systems analysis, design, development tools, and techniques. Preferred 5+ years of experience in Broad base of knowledge with various OS including all Microsoft OS, UNIX, Linux.
