*TITLE: Java **Technical Lead* *LOCATION: Torrance, CA* *DURATION: 6+ Month* *Requisition Details:* *Responsibilities:* - Gathers, refines and validates complex business requirements, interdependencies, potential risks and issues - Analyzes business partner's operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions - Assists in the business process design or redesign and documentation as needed - Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications and manages changes to such specifications - Facilitates communication and gains commitment between business units to align solutions with business strategies - Develops complex business cases - Works on multiple projects as a project team member, at times as a project leader - Assists with facilitating project governance and corporate priorities *Daily Tasks Performed:* - Provide technical leadership to the overall program (consisting of core team, internal ISD teams and vendor delivery teams); Mentor the core application development team members through technical problem and challenges that arise during the various stages of the SDLC lifecycle - Establish guidelines and standards that need to be followed by all tracks of the program (for all phases of the SDLC) - Work with the Solution Architect to understand the architecture direction and expand the concept into a detailed application design - Ability to guide the development team with prototype code and help with debugging when necessary - Review the code and deliverable being created for the overall program; - Assist the project manager with the technical aspects of the project plan for the entire program - Assist the Project Manager in managing the technical risks for the overall program *Musts:* - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business - Administration or other related field or equivalent work experience *Desired Skills:* - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or have equivalent experience - 7+ years of general IT experience of which 5+ years in a Technical Lead Role - 5+ years leading delivery of J2EE based systems, preferably on Websphere Platform - 2+ years experience with integrating .Net applications in a Service Oriented based architecture; - 2+ years using experience with Integration Projects (EAI products like WebSphere Integrator, TIBCO, Web Methods,etc.) - Experience with J2EE portals; Strong Unit Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and Performance & Load Testing abilities, including automated testing techniques using MAVEN, ANT, etc. - Experience with development of applications to mobile platforms - Experience with Telematics program preferred - Strong Object Oriented Analysis and Design Skills Web Services - Must have application design experience using UML - Good understanding of the different architecture patterns and their tradeoffs; Must have experience in service oriented architecture - Experience with implementing and deploying solutions on Enterprise Service Bus platform -- *Rajat Kumar* *ll IT-SCIENT ll Phone: 510-516-7859 ll Official: rajat. <surajkumar.itsci...@gmail.com>s...@itscient.com <s...@itscient.com>* *ll Email: rajat.itsci...@gmail.com <surajkumar.itsci...@gmail.com> ll Web: www.itscient.com <http://www.itscient.com/> ll* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "REQSRESUMES" group.
