Work with development teams, Systems Engineers, and business unit stakeholders to determine needs and functional specifications. Design integrations and communications between enterprise systems. May lead initiatives to redesign or enhance enterprise infrastructure.7-10 years of experience in a Systems Engineer with progressive responsibilities or Architect role is required. The incumbent SharePoint Architect will do the following, within SharePoint 2010, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) • Lead the ongoing configuration and validation of SharePoint and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). • Develop and/or maintain proof of concept (poc) prototypes that validate the BI strategy roadmap including poc’s that enable collaboration through SharePoint and reporting through SSRS and Excel services and PowerPivot. • Provide general guidance for UI/UX best practice for SharePoint 2010 style sheets for all templates/objects within acceptable governance of sandbox solutions. • Provide general guidance for UI/UX best practice for SSRS for all templates/objects within acceptable governance of sandbox solutions. • Provide general guidance for best practice for Excel services and PowerPivot within acceptable governance of sandbox solutions. • Provide subject matter expertise in creating sites, including forms services, excel services, workflow and reporting on SharePoint 2010. • Assist with the development of a knowledge transfer plan • Walkthrough technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for each of the above components • Be responsible for support, maintenance and enhancement of corporate Internal Applications Design and develop components used in a variety of enterprise business solutions including: • Portals and collaboration solutions • Content management solutions • Enterprise social computing solutions • Business intelligence and dash boarding solutions • A variety of automated business process solutions Further responsibilities include: • Creation/maintenance of SharePoint workflows • Creation/maintenance of SharePoint surveys, forms, lists, and libraries • Develop custom SharePoint applications using out of the box SharePoint technology or custom code per the requirements of each project • Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems. • Provide recommendations for improvements to site architecture, design, and functionality. • Configure collaboration sites and forms authentication for staff access. • Manage user access controls and security permissions for SharePoint 2010 or higher. • Assist with user acceptance testing and the preparation of user manuals and training for Share Point2010 or higher applications. • Assist with web initiatives troubleshoot and debug applications that occur outside the regular release cycle.
