Position : MicroStrategy Architect Location: Newyork, NY Duration: 6+ months Job Description: · At least 8+ years hands-on experience in data integration, business intelligence, reporting, and analytics or related projects · Minimum of 6 years of demonstrated excellence working as a *Senior Developer/Consultant on Microstrategy* · Experience in working with cross functional teams to assist with gathering and evaluating detailed project requirements · Should be able to design MicroStrategy Schema based on Reports and Dashboard Requirements · Expertise in defining MicroStrategy Narrow Cast Server objects like Service, Schedule, Subscription set and Information Objects. · Expertise in creating MicroStrategy documents, Grid reports, dashboards for various business environments and knowledge of all the widgets to effectively visualize the data · Expertise in creating Schema Objects (facts, attributes, User Hierarchies, Transformations) and Application Objects (filters, metrics, prompts, Custom Groups, Consolidations, Templates, Drill Maps) to generate reports, Report Services documents and dashboards for Business analysis · Expert in public objects (like Metrics, Filter, Prompts, Drill maps, Templates, Consolidations and Custom Groups) · Should be able to schedule the reports in Narrowcast server, saved prompts and schedule the reports by email · Exposure to Implementation of web based ad-hoc reporting · Perform testing including Unit, Integration, Performance and Regression testing · Participate in troubleshooting of issues post production or as part of operational support · Proven analytical, problem solving, time management and organizational skills · Ability to guide, lead, mentor and facilitate collaboration among team members · Database skills to handle MicroStrategy Report SQL's and Data analysis, and should have experience in RDBMS like Oracle etc. · Should be able to cascade Best Practices and Design standards to implement Business requirement · Performance Tuning - Should be able to identify and enhance the performance of the Dashboards/Reports · Good communication, presentation and collaboration skills to engage with multiple stake holders · Suggest/Develop innovative ideas for the use of MicroStrategy · MicroStrategy Certified Developer (MCD) is a plus Vivek Kumar, Executive Talent Acquisition [image: cid:image001.png@01D01011.0B0A3090] *Phone +1-248-565-4747 with Xtn-169* Fax: 248-254-7211 E-Mail- vsa...@tekshapers.com TekShapers Inc. 1441 E.
