Title: SAP Workflow Consultant Location: Houston, TX Duration : 6+ Months Global/Finance, Treasury - Chemical a plus *ob Description* : *SAP Workflow Contractor:* Work with SAP Functional and Technical Developers to support and implement company’s global processes primarily using standard SAP solutions as well as other external interfaces supporting business process. The primary responsibility of this technical position is to coordinate and perform requirements analysis, process design, development and maintenance of SAP Workflow objects in various business process areas to create value through productivity gains, improved business performance and improved decision support. Experience § Demonstrated proficiency in the development of SAP Workflow § 10+ years SAP experience required with Object Oriented ABAP and thorough knowledge of OO concepts § Experience in working with geographically dispersed clients and resources - preferred global experience in the chemicals industry § Experience with large SAP ERP global rollouts § Technical leadership experience in architecting and collaborating with business process architect groups to develop efficient technical solutions in the areas of finance and/or treasury. § Leadership in development, implement and support of global initiatives at various time zones. § Ability to relate technical ideas and functionality to non-technical users § Strong organizational, oral/written communication, interpersonal and agency/client relationship skills. § Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields § Well versed with SAP debugging § Ability to create and meet timelines cognizant of business needs and constraints. § Highly self-motivated, driven work ethic, keen attention to detail and exceptional customer service orientation. § Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment and handle multiple issues at once. Essential Functions § Understanding business needs and leading thoughtful design discussions around meeting those business needs in a standard manner fully leveraging SAP product capabilities. § Developing and maintaining architectural and design direction and leading teams to develop creative business solutions within it. § Responsible for the implementation of technical changes for the agreed upon solution. The objective of this activity is to achieve a reliable, stable system operation with a minimum of SAP customization. § Thought leadership, mentorship, and forum leadership in the areas of responsibility. § Responsible for following and ensuring of the execution of all appropriate documentation, testing, technical design, quality assurance and management of change requirements.
