This tester should have an overall experience of 7-10+ years doing manual testing and their experience in using Silk Should has been within the last 18-24 months. *Brief Job Description: *The performance tester will lead the performance testing activities of a .NET application deployed in Microsoft Azure. Responsible for the design and implementation of performance and load tests in a cloud solution. Proven experience in setting up performance test environments using Silk Performer. Demonstrated ability to lead Performance test life cycle activities, coordinate and manage automated performance testing for large enterprise projects. *Detailed job activities: * · Proficient in Borland Silk Performer, .NET based web applications and relational database systems such as SQL server. · Evaluate project timelines and create test plans · Identify functional and non-functional requirements for Performance, Load and Stress testing · Gather metrics concerning concurrent users/transactions, test run time for test scenarios · Determine security and data needs for automated and/or manual test cases · Develop test scripts using Silk Performer Work Bench · Setup Correlation, parameters and execute test scripts · Evaluate test results in TrueLog Explorer, determine bottlenecks, and provide recommendations to Development team to rectify performance issues. · Document test results, SLA’s for test scenarios and discuss test outcome with client teams. *Skills*: · 10+ years of experience in performance testing .NET based web applications deployed in Cloud environment.
