Role: Cloud Engineer
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6 to 12 Months
Required skills:
· DevOps experience with continuous delivery on public clouds such
as Google Cloud, Azure and AWS.
· Experience with agile product development practices required.
· Experience with Federated Identity Management
· Experience with open source software platforms such as Apache
Hadoop preferred.
· Experience with microservices architecture, development,
deployment and testing.
· Familiarity with container or virtualization technologies.
· Competency with managed languages such as Java required.
· Knowledge of interpreted or dynamic scripting languages like
Python preferred.
· Experience in the energy and petroleum industry preferred
Responsibilities:
· Builds prototypes, products and systems suitable for
understanding, validating and satisfying customer needs.
· Follows best practices associated with DevOps and value-driven
development – ensuring quality from concept to production.
· Works well in a small team and capable of collaborating with
other teams to align objectives and share expertise throughout the broader
organization.
· Identifies and keeps abreast of novel technical concepts and
markets.
· May author technical reports, papers, articles, patents and
presentations.
